Andrew Pierce and Ashley Hudson became deeply entwined after they met for the first time. Ashley was just 17, and she had never been married before. The couple began their relationship very slowly. It was romance at first sight. Andrew was praying to God during New Year's Eve, right as 2016 was about to begin. Andrew requested God for one final favor this year, which was that Ashley accept his proposal and be married. Ashley desired a wedding that was elegant that was a folk-inspired wedding. It was important for her that the wedding represented both Andrew as well as Ashley. The wedding consisted of the many things they love. The location was the back 40 acres of the property Ashley was raised on. Ashley played and explored every inch of the property, which included the paths they walked in order to reach it. Andrew and Ashley have also explored the area multiple times before they began dating. Since almost everything was DIY by the bride and groom personalization was important. Andrew Ashley's father and Andrew designed the ceremony arch as well as the seating area, while Ashley did a great deal of designing and painting. Ashley states that if Anna Floral Designer at Magnolia Belle Floral hadn't completed her incredible floral design for us, the wedding may not have been as magical feeling I hoped it would. It's truly amazing.
